The Best Companion I Ever Have.

THE BEST COMPANION I EVER HAVE

This is a story which made me really excited when I was traveling through the thorns of life. It was narrated to me by my great friend whom I call-“The best companion I ever have”. He is still with me, and once, before the world arises, before Engineering colleges were established, before Twitter and Face book grabbed our lives, he was there with all of us, with our ancestors and will be there with our successors. He is not only my companion, but also everyone’s. Even Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Sachin Tendulkar, A.R.Rahman and myself have him as the ever tranquil, caring and naughty friend.

Let me go to the circumstance which provoked the universal friend to tell me the story. I was very obsessed with the thoughts of my future. The story was like that-
“There was an Engineering student at one of the finest colleges of Kerala. He was a good person in all sense. Well, a guy who had big brain to put his compassions into the practical life. He also was obsessed with the thoughts of his future. He always used to tell himself-“At last a day arrives, when I will arise towards the world to stand with enough pride and confidence”. Even though obsession was following him every moment, he always stuck with his complacent inner speech. Thus a day broke the bread with him, where he became addicted to all his dreams. He was no more able to put his compassion to life,
Let me go to the circumstance which provoked the universal friend to tell me the story.
He was no more able to put his compassion to life, nor was he able to study. Time took away all his good friends from him, even the girl whom he loved more than his life. Thus he was depressed and unhappy! One day the universal companion joined him and suggested him a journey. A journey of solitude, a journey to know the soul of world by that he could create a dent in that world through his passion. The journey through life continued. The thought which reigned him was-“My realm is exasperated only with depressions and sorrows”. But the journey was making some miraculous transformations on him. He found street boys fighting with dogs for a loaf of dirty bread, beggars without legs and arms, lepers, blind people. And so on. Some way or the other he understood,” There are people in this world who lead their challenging life in the challenging way”. While he stepped out from the train he found two little eyes of a small, cute tot looking at him, blinking and smiling. Now he was able to decipher what is life. The universal friend asked him with a pat,” Why glum my chum?”

Years passed, now he is no more a student, but a teacher at the most prestigious, famous college in this world. He is able to love students as his own children because he know the boomerang theory of life-“What you give more, you will get more”. The various lessons life taught him, made him an efficient person, and more than that an eminent person. Now he understands “all those happened in his teenage were omens which made him get into his dreams, to win over his obsessions and the” whole world conspired for his passion” as Paulo Coelho and R.W.Emerson said. Yes his life was the tribute to his inner speech” At last a day arrives, when I will arise towards the world with enough pride and confidence”.

When I heard this story from my universal friend I also went to follow the omens I had in my life. Now I am able to conceive that all the decisions taken by my universal friend which makes me follow the omens is leading me towards success as long as I have the same speech.” THE SPEECH OF INTROSPECTION”

“My lord, a day is arriving, when I will arise towards the World to stand with enough pride and confidence”
